Hidden and overt messages:

E.g. this advert shows a lot of young models running on to a beach in bikinis, which will draw people in to watch the advert as men like to look at good looking women in there bikinis and women like to look at skinny good looking women because they want to be like them and look like them.

So showing models in the advert will draw attention to it the product. At the start of the advert you think that it is advertising a deodorant because he is spraying him self and all the women are running towards him, then at the end there is a twist, he then puts on some glasses which are hideous and all the women run away then the slogan “should have gone to specs savers” is done as a voice over.

This is a very clever advert because it draws you in because of the sexual impact it gives, then has a joke at the end to make you remember the advert as its humours.
E.g. this advert is selling cleaning products. This kitchen in the background is really clean trying to say that if you have this product your kitchen will and can be as clean this is a hidden message which they have done to make you think what they want you to think.
